President Trump will announce his stance on the Iranian nuclear deal.

President Trump will announce his stance on the Iranian nuclear deal. His criticism on the deal lead the speculation that he would be getting the US out of the deal. Nations warned against such move, citing the risk of heightened tensions in the region. The US getting out of the deal means the sanctions would be imposed upon the nation again, which may not be followed by other nations. The uncertainty raise the oil prices.

Because of the deal, the companies planned business deals with the nation, including aircraft companies such as Boeing and Airbus. The Trump Administration prohibited the deals of the former, which would be deemed impossible if it withdraw from the deal. Auto manufacturers plan producing cars there; now there is no guarantee that is even possible.

The EU nations pleaded for preserving the deal; the Iranian regime warned of dire consequences. Meanwhile, Israeli PM Netanyahu made an appeal that its nuclear programs won't be detered by the deal. The Israeli hostility against Iran is not limited just by its nuclear programs; Israel bombed Syria and claims Iran is involved in the civil war.

What influences the US policies on Iran?

The polls.

Although the general polls indicate the majority supports the deal, President Trump in his Presidential campaign claimed the deal is bad and insisted upon getting out it.

The hardliners.

The conservatives that lead this nation into the war against Iraq claim the deal is not good enough without offering the alternatives, risking further escalation of tension in the most volatile region in the world.

Israel.

As Israeli PM Netanyahu is facing trials and prosecutions and needs scapegoats, the hardline stance of the US appease the voters, alongside with the tough stance it is taking against the Palestine protestors against what they term as the open air prison. Washington is under the influence of Israel so much in the way that is moving its embassy. President Trump, however, is not attending the opening ceremony.
