The on-going Yemen war, widely criticized as a proxy war between Saudi and the US backed coalition and Houthis intensified in the month of November. The Yemeni citizens are suffering from shortage of foods and medicines and on the brink of famine. The coalition forces are accused of blocking the aids from flowing in. The human rights organizations claim that is an act of genocide, effectively killing citizens of Yemen.
The Senate introduced a bipartisan bill that would suspend weapons sales and prohibit refuelling. The Trump Administration stopped the fuel supply on last Friday. The bill would sanction any that block humanitarian access and support Houthis.
