President Trump in Orlando

President Trump launched his 2020 bid today in Orlando on Tuesday. Thousands of people lined up for the event. Some of them from the day before. The impressive number of enthusiastic supporters may indicate his could retake this state, while the Dems will host the candidate rally in Miami in coming days.

During the rally, President Trump mostly concentrated on his economic achievement and the fight against the establishment, including the media. His "Drain the swamp!" call was answered with deafening outcry from the audience. "Drain the swamp!".

President Trump vowed he will protect the "freedom". As the media reports his rally with somewhat vicious attacks on him as a person and on his comments, the President indeed letting the 'freedom' by the media.

President Trump said, underestimating the last election deprives the voters the 'dignity'. Was he talking about his, in whatever ways? He talked of "deplorables". He said, the election is about us the people, not the professional politicians. He said proudly he is free from special interests.

President Trump indeed said 'the witch hunt' and how malicious the attacks are in connection with the last 2016 election. His figures on drug-overdose cases, violent crime stat, and drug prices may showing some exaggeration as the stat may not be showing notable improvements. Tricks or what, the rally certainly was exciting; and the audience would be looking for continuation of his policies.

President Trump reiterated "America (and its citizens) first" policies. He talked of the US's great ally Israel. He talked of abandoning international treaties (and said it was not very hard). He talked of keeping our street safe. He thanked the ICE and the law enforcement officers. He emphasized the US is producing more energies than ever before. The factories are coming back, he said, in defense of his policies on tariffs.

The race just has started.
