Kashmir -- Nationalism -- NRA

The leaders of India and Pakistan spoke at the UN General Assembly as the voices of concern raised on the blackout in Kashmir. The region suffered from devastating earthquake days ago.

At the United Nations, President Trump insisted the love for your nation will bring peace. The case of Kashmir, however, essentially violates the principle. In the case with Kashmir, is it not “Nationalism means war” rather? The eccentric and narrow nationalism that boasts of the relative prosperity at the costs of the neighbors, the beggar thy neighbors policies does not bring the truth prosperity. The German Foreign minister talked of “sustainable” peace and prosperity at the General Assembly. The fragile and volatile situation in Kashmir benefits no one. Except for those gain the support by the nationalistic enthusiasms. The sovereignty of the people should be determined by the people themselves, rather than the central government.

As the President talk of the importance of the love for the nation, another report came out on the NRA, that its ties with Russia is more evident than before. The NRA's unspoken influence over our elections and its inhuman and cruel policies of enforcing the laws that only guarantees the mob-and-alike and ill-minded criminals including casual violations of laws that could lead fatal and most devastating outcomes can only be indeed explained by the outside power. The nationalism and sovereignty should work for the people themselves; not for those that claim the superiority by sheer force by the weapons.
