The world and us: on Healthcare and Student Loans

Readying for the impending general election, the UK Labour Party launched a new campaign. The party now endorses Brexit referendum. That is what has been demanded by the people on both sides out of this stalemate. The UK government suspended the Parliament for avoiding the talk on Brexit. The UK Supreme Court would be deciding on legality of the prorogation of parliament.

The Labour promises free prescription drugs. The people in the UK enjoy free healthcare. While we still are struggling with the arguments whether the healthcare be a basic human right or the privilege of the rich, the world is moving forward.

There is this suggestion of abolishing of private schools such as Eaton, that has provided the privileged elites by the parents money. The matter is not without hope. On the tuition issue, the governor of New Mexico announced last week that the state's public universities will offer degree courses tuition free. The state will cover expenses for both in-state and out-state students.
