Identity Politics

The identity politics is defined as policies that divide the nation by social factors.

The smear campaign on a group of people based upon their race, origin, religion, etc. can provide grounds for baseless accusations that only strengthen the establishment, which most likely is without such prejudices.

Identity politics is about labeling; the labels that can put dirt on such powerful individual as Presidents. As for labels aiming at tainting the reputation of an individual, that can deprive the person of the chances of promotion or employment. Or even simply making a friend.  Labeling a person by what?

Finding a fault and justifying your position is dirty and in this case rather ridiculous. It is not the fault of that person that does not like the individual. Definitely not because of his/her outlook or his/her credentials. While your assumption is wrong.

It is not only rude that you'd assume something coming out of your imagination. It is against our constitutional rights. Assuming the power and the popular backing and 'demanding' some rights is nothing but arrogance or the abuse of power.
