More deaths reported by coronavirus

The 2019-nCoV virus has killed 723 people worldwide, mainly in China. Among the victims of the new strain of the coronavirus is a US national in China infected with coronavirus. No definitive cure has been found while there have been reports of various vaccines that could be effective.

While tens of thousands of people die of influenza in the US every year, the 2019-nCoV virus has higher mortality rates and possibly more infectious.

The 2019-nCoV virus has affected the civilian life in China and the economy worldwide as the nation locked down cities. While WHO denounced the travel restrictions, some nations closed borders and refuse cruise ships.

Has the government reacted promptly in coping with the spread of the virus?  The report of death of a doctor Li Wenliang, a early whilstleblower, has stirred up the emotional reaction among the people in China and worldwide of the importance of the freedom of information. Li was criminalized of his warning by the government on the new virus which he claimed as SARS last December. He later proclaimed that he was talking within a small circle of people.

Here is an interesting report on the video circulated in January before the lockdown. The video shows a surgeon collapsed during an operation. Naturally, you might associate the symptoms of the virus and this article claims that this video clip has been circulated as showing how deadly the disease is. The author claims, however, that it is not the case. This incident was taped before the lockdown. There even a post saying "Oh look, this is China. Even a surgeon collapse of overwork". Well, is it? The date of the recording is certainly before the lockdown. Does it mean this case is unrelated with the new virus? Or is it that it shows the spread of the virus before the lockdown? There have been posts of the sudden death cases of the new coronavirus.
