The governor declared that South Florida reopens its economy last Monday. More businesses may be re-opened today. The number of the coronavirus infections, however, went up by 71% last week.
Just last week, down the street, I passed by a care facility. An ambulance was parking on its drive way. Nurses in heavy protective garments surrounded a stretcher, which carried a body seemingly wrapped up.
Later I read in a paper that there have been many cases of the coronavirus infections and deaths. The facility is among the list of the facilities that reported the victims of the virus.
As the number of cases went up, less traffic over the last weekend in comparison with the week before. Will the county control the infections? That will be determined by the attitudes of the people in the region.
