Ever frequently repeated the sound of sirens should tell us about what is happening here in West Palm Beach, FL. The state recorded the highest number of deaths last week. The number of cases remained high and the positivity rates went up.

It seems 'eradicating' the virus strategies do not work -- be it the 'underground' world contamination or for other reasons -- and 'reducing the chances of infection' is more effective in reducing the number of deaths.
Take for instance the case in Israel. The official number at least indicates the society almost 'eradicated' the virus and then the cases went up again after re-opening the businesses. That diverse society probably could not fully implement a lock-down. Other nations such as South Korea and Japan now suffer from first clusters 'underground' then the spread of the virus in places including local cities.
The number of cases in NY has been low while the state has not fully reopened the businesses. The state of Florida has not gone into a full lock-down. There has not been a mask mandate, indoor dining is only limited by the capacity, no statewide curfew while Walmart around here close at night and Miami imposed a nightly curfew.
If the state is slow in response against the fast spread 'waves' of the virus, fight against the virus, on your own -- wear a mask, avoid crowds, wash your hands, stay at home.
