COVID-19: Stimulus - UI Extension

Slightly less traffic yet full mall parking lot and many shoppers; many now wear masks, especially the professionals, if not in some proper manner. Perhaps the job seekers flock the stores or outing, some exercising outdoor. Sound of ambulance sirens and the red vehicle passing should indicate those among the hundreds hospitalized today.

Even the parking lot of the vulnerable communities seem rather empty. Particularly impressed me was a shopper wearing a mask halfway with a bunch of brown plastic shopping bags. Should she be aware of the risks perhaps? Let us pray for the safety of shoppers. Should online shopping not be more popular? Yet we should be banned at least indoor dining already.

The storm is gone and it was cool before it got hot again. The green is ever so fresh and brighter under the sun. As Congress debates the stimulus, the UI extension, and other fiscal measures, the official figures may be showing the concerns by the state and the federal government. A huge display of "only a flu" campaign mixed with voices of mainly the healthcare workers and relatives of the victims refuting the claims. They debate the number of hospitalizations and the hospitals out of ICU units.
