COVID-19: Wear a mask

While 160 people shot dead and 500 injured over Independence Day weekend, the media is all about partisan politics. We do not hear people hospitalized or even dead by the coronavirus, either.

But we must survive; the Congress will talk about the continuation of the stimulus money. All the while, evidently what is the most important issue is the social ones; is slavery the same with abortion?

In every possibility, the cases and the hospitalizations will go up in the coming weeks. We still have the ICU units available in Florida, unlike other states. The sky has not been fallen; we must protect ourselves if the state is unwilling.

The appalling cases of the shoppers enraged by the mask mandate, a Florida cult and college groups having COVID parties, and the media largely influenced by the cultural centers having their infection rates going down may diminish your hopes of a quick end of the crisis while more papers on the disease may back up the quasi consensus assumption of the mechanisms of how the virus affects our body.

Wear a mask, wash your hands, keep distances, and avoid crowds. Let us guard ourselves and protect our communities.
