The indignation against the protesters opposing masks I believe is an ethical one, for the sake of the people there and in the world. The masks protect the wearer and those near them.
Evidently, masks should not be an excuse for not taking other measures. German Chancellor Merkel warned things may go worse in fall, and in winter.
The number of deaths may not be reflected in the support rates nor some political pressure for the opposition. The figure talks of our lives, not politics. If exposed, you'll get infected. If they get one, you get one. Then we will get one. That is the nature of the pandemics. It is contagious.
