Former President Trump at CPAC2021

Former President Trump spoke at CPAC.

He gave the enthusiastic audience a warning under the new Administration the gas prices may go up. He insisted on the job loss by canceling the Keystone Pipeline project (in Canada perhaps?) and by re-entering the Paris Accord. The former President said our energy independence will be threatened under the new rules by relying on green energy. He typically brushed aside the Green New Deal with a wave of his hand.

Among his criticisms against the Biden Administration, he claimed the business as usual nullified his diplomatic achievements. He boasted of his Administration's successful deal of Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador accepting the 'criminals'. He claimed the US pays much more for WHO than China does and still being treated unfairly. He used the term 'China virus' regardless of the reports of racial attacks because of prejudice. While criticizing the diplomatic loss, however, he did not mention the cost of rejoining the Paris Accord.

As for Twitter having banned his account, he rightfully declared vengeance; the big tech should be aware of such barbarism. Mind you that Google has been paying for news outlets here in the US and elsewhere these days. Or is it about the digital tax perhaps?

The former President suggested election reforms; election-day only voting, voter ID requirements, and signature matching. He touted his economic achievements of the pre-pandemic era and 'hinted at' 2024 Presidential run. He claimed the candidates he supported get votes; that the party members against him should re-think what they're doing.
