President Trump: The Senate trial started

The Senate trial started, while they do not have the votes for a guilty verdict.

Was the protest at the Capitol a coup against the regime? Against, or for the regime, for that matter?

For those outside Washington, it may seem absurd proposition and nothing more than a political ploy. That meant some demonstration of people protesting against the establishment or the current electoral system. Calling it as a coup is an overstatement. If it is a coup, what of BLM movement?

The violent attacks of the mobs crushing the windows and looting stores brought more hardship and damages than the damages the lawmakers suffered. They have not got the attention of people. They have not attained the political high ground of preaching on the 'constitutional crisis'.

Understandably, refuting the results of the hard-fought, the most expensive election may be disturbing. Yet it still is not a coup. While it is not wholly entertaining, the show has been peppered with some elements of it. The media and SNS streamed the whole event. It may have been disappointing for the protesters that they did not get more favorable views; the aftermath of the event mostly indicated the support of the new (or old) normal (business as usual in Washington).

Should we call this a constitutional crisis? The democracy of this nation is at a full display. You may not be impressed by the idea of it while watching the raw display of the wraths of those elected in power may tell you something.

Constitutional crisis? We've been under the constitutional crisis for long time. Our freedom of speech is limited by the convenience by the media, the lawmakers, the mobs, and their prejudices. It should not be only the lawmakers that get protected by the law. Protect us from our constitutional crisis. We should be protected by the law.
