President Biden "Have at it"

In some parts of the world, people lined up for the vaccine. Just as that the elderly people got it first, the vaccine appointments for the youth go as fast as they could. Evidently, they see the merit of getting vaccinated, perhaps watching the case numbers skyrocketed. The delta variant is something else.

Meanwhile here in this nation, the partisan politics play out in the way that favors the virus. How could the one in charge, elected in the office, responsible for getting the hospitals and ICUs available for those in need could even oppose vaccination at work? It does not even make sense.

President Biden announced the companies should get their employees vaccinated as a work requirement. In Europe, it's the 'vaccine passport'. Then there is this talk of the Republican governors talking about setting up legal challenges against the vaccination. What's the law for if it does not protect us? Is the law for the out-law's?

Even the vaccinated will be infected if enough amount of virus particles are around. Is this -- politics? Is this a vote winner? Amongst whom? Some "naughty boy" revolt against the authority? What sort of a joke is the challenge against science? Or rather, this individualism hurts the overall community, very bad for the economy.

The monoclonal treatment works just in the same way as the vaccines do except that you'd be getting someone else's antibodies. The vaccines make your immune system generate your own antibodies. The lack of trust is quite something. But in what? It should be a mere risk assessment on deaths by vaccination and by COVID.

The hospitals and ICUs are still filled up by the COVID patients. The state of Florida still has not fixed the reporting system. Our Republican governor still is opposing the mask mandate. Under such circumstances, there is not much we can do else.
