Math has its own importance and is the basis of every science. The basic math skills helped people understand the scale of the impact of the pandemics. What is exponential growth? Without understanding that much, if they ever are thinking of some linear growth, understanding the importance of taking precaution should be a bit hard unless associated with the trust in science.
Partying with people is not the only way of saving lives. Conversing with desolate people is not effective in solving those problems. Most of all, that does not wake up your intellect if the talk is always concentrated on assimilation. Finish such talks with yours. Stop harassment.
It is not the same thing as consoling the family of the soldiers nor helping the poor and the rich kids of yours solving the arithmetic problems, such as percentage and ratio, and then tell them the world is not fair.
What do they know of the mental impact of being stuck with math/technical problems or any academic ones, if they skipped schools and their sons/daughters buy off their degrees/certificates/grades? It certainly does not justify political/personal prosecutions.
