Whatever the political connotations in the message could depend upon interpretation. One thing, however, struck me as a -- shock. Wat? They died down because the earth cooled off. They thrived in the hot climate.
The contrast between the clear and vivid image of a 3D animated figure and the total and complete lack of very basic scientific knowledge is what typifies this free nation. This programmer and the artists never even bothered about the reason for the extinction.
After reading the comments on this short clip, my conviction got stronger. Evidently, that is the first impression of watching this. What the hell, are they ironic or what?
If they ever talk about science, perhaps we should talk about STEM education first and foremost.
