COVID: expected rise in the number of cases

The COVID mortality rate is above 1%. It means, if you get the virus, 1 in 100 will certainly die because of the infection. Vaccines play a vital role in prevention. Here goes the proposed prayer from Israel on the vaccines.

“Holy One of life and love, wrap me in a warm embrace as I prepare to receive my COVID-19 vaccine,” the prayer begins. “I give thanks to the doctors and scientists who are creators like you, for the wise people who approved the vaccine, and for everyone who made sure this was available to kids.”

“With this vaccination, I let out the long-held pause and breath I have been anxiously keeping inside for these long months, and passionately affirm, Blessed are you, Adonai, Ruler of this Universe, who has granted us life, sustained us, and brought us to this moment, and let us all say, Amen,”

G20 is over and Cop26 ended. What are the results, what is the take by the world? The talk is over and the price tags are high. What was all that about?

In that, the Canadian media at least is talking about climate issues. Where else? The UK media is busy attacking the PM, perhaps the climate conference is over now. The French media is talking about domestic issues and it's perhaps politics. The German media is not talking about the climate. Perhaps the people's concerns are more on the fuel prices. The Italian media is talking about the climate in a political context.  The US media is all about the elections yesterday. Much the same way in the case with Japan after the general election and welcoming the new prime minister. The Korean media is not talking about the climate.

Here is the question of the day. What is the chance of dying from climate change, and what is the chance of dying of nuclear power plants? Would a nuclear submarine kill the crews or the supposed enemies somewhere?
