Google search shows ads that are clearly affected by my Google search. It is spooky. How is the privacy in the States protected?
The US has accused the Chinese government for not protecting bloggers. But here in the States, I feel oppressed by writing my blog. Would that affect my Google search?
It makes more business sense if the Google ads updates its contents depending on my interests. The search words, blogs and emails are previous data that Google can exploit on its users. Technically speaking, it is all possible that all the Google search presents you the optimal search results -- for the government, for the companies, or political parties that has the merit.
Imagine in the world you search keywords such as: Chinese economy surpasses the US and then your Google search results all ends up with threats from the military: your colleague says your underwear is dirty.
That is such a horrific use of technology. No one wants your colleagues criticizing your underwear. It certainly is none of their business.
'All kidding aside', our freedom is only ensured if we are protected from the governmental interference.
