UN Security Council calls for urgent and extended humanitarian pauses in Gaza

The UN Security Council voted on cease-fire today and passed a resolution calling for urgent and extended humanitarian pauses in Gaza (link). 

Prior to the UN vote, the UK House voted on cease-fire. The voters protested outside the Parliament. They are literally urging the MP's to vote for a cease-fire. Some MP's responded to the calls, or rather, calling for more emails to come to them in addition to already thousands of emails sent out to her. Some say more than 125000 people contacted MP's for the vote. In the end, 125 voted for the amendment that calls out for a cease-fire. 

The Scottish Parliament will vote on cease-fire next week. 

Indonesian President Widodo spoke with President Biden and urged a cease-fire, in front of the camera. 

Turkish President Erdogan openly said what everyone says what it is: Israel is a terrorist nation. 

It is the people that sympathized with the people in Palestine; the more democratic a nation is, more vocal are the leaders.

Belize cut ties with Israel. Colombia proposes UN recognition for Palestine as independent state. 

Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez said his administration will recognize the state of Palestine.
