The headlines can give you a very deceptive impression. This morning, the headline went as follows: U.S. issues strongest criticism of Israel yet as civilian deaths in Gaza surge. This may be read as the Biden Administration directed toward a peaceful solution. Such as ending the Israeli genocidal attacks on civilians.
The disappointing news came after a while: US vetoes UN Security Council demand for ceasefire in Gaza. The US representative commented in the same manner as the Israeli Netanyahu government says: they are exterminating the unforeseeable future attacks for fear. The UK abstained.
Their logic cannot justify in any way possibly the massacre of civilians in Gaza and in West Bank. Coud any judge in Hague ever offer any favorable opinions of the US or the Israeli logic? It is even provocative in a way that, as if saying: they can go ahead with war crimes even with this stupid logic. This is what it means to be the world superpower.
