A New American Pope—Will He Speak on Palestine?

The newly elected Pope Leo XIV, an American cardinal born in Chicago with decades of service in Peru and the Vatican, has assumed the papacy. Will his leadership lean toward liberal ideals?

Many hope that the new Pope will address the suffering of the Gazan people, who are facing starvation due to Israel's aid cuts.

The Democratic Party's campaign tactics have been unpopular. If senior members fail to recognize this, it will be yet another factor contributing to the party’s decline.

This is their greatest opportunity—the chaos brought by the Trump administration. The 'own goal' should help them gain more popularity.

Repeating failed tactics won't work.

"We oppose Israeli genocide!"

"We let people buy things on Temu!"

"We oppose military actions in Kashmir!"

I am sick and tired of their "for you" rhetoric. Politicians often appeal to voters by framing policies or actions as being "for you"—a technique known as populist rhetoric or personalized political messaging. This approach aims to create a direct connection between the politician and the people, making voters feel like they are personally benefiting from the leader’s decisions.

You must be joking. It is not for me. It is not for us. It is not even for them.
