If you were registered at barackobama.com, you would have received an email that celebrate the end of the war in Iraq, from President Obama.
Well, this made my day. This is the way this nation is heading for. We are fortunate to have President Obama for our leader.
The oil money is flowing into the media as well and it is not at this point easy to find how "the sand oil emits greenhouse gases and the cause of the worst pollutant in Canada" nor "the risk of leaks from the pipeline that damage greatly and permanently the environment". For that matter, what ramification to it politically is not clear, either, who has given the money and who suffers from it.
Let us hope that President Obama would keep his promise to veto the project.
Early this morning, the last of our troops left Iraq.
As we honor and reflect on the sacrifices that millions of men and women made for this war, I wanted to make sure you heard the news.
Bringing this war to a responsible end was a cause that sparked many Americans to get involved in the political process for the first time. Today's outcome is a reminder that we all have a stake in our country's future, and a say in the direction we choose.
Thank you.
-- President Obama
