North Korea, the way to go forward

I have been asked about North Korea where the dictatorial Kim Jeong Il rule the nation until his death. I wrote him back about the nation.

The regime is not a kingdom. The leader may not be revered but a feared god. Other thing is that it is rather 'a group' that make the decision. In case with China, do you call the communist China as under dictatorship? It is one party dictatorship, to be precise. Hu Jintao as an individual probably may not and can not or will not make decisions in the same way as our leaders. The centralized system of concentrated power, is one of the characteristics of the nations in the region.

The citizens are in fear, mocking and in pretense mourning for the death. Their fears are genuine. When 200,000 in concentration camps, openly executed for stealing copper wires, the citizens dare not to think of things otherwise. The open revolts probably will not topple the regime, or it is how they say.

They may indeed use the name of the successor, or may not until he grips on power. The estimate is a year until they may go for another provocative military aggressions again. The hope is they open the nation economically, politically, and culturally with the cooperation with the surrounding nations.
