Twitter should be a fairground for discussion.

No media is free from the influences of money and power. Twitter is as bad as the conventional media. It's like there is a filter and everything looks green. Whenever there is a political campaign, there will be a series of articles and tweets on the subject, most likely one-sided.

Take for example. "Dear MAGA, ... Donald Trump IS WRONG, RUSSIA IS OUR ENEMY". This is a tweet I've got on my timeline. I've retweeted some leftist agenda but way too partisan than I'd like my timeline to be. And it is hardly inspiring, no-brainer. First off, it starts out labeling a group of people in a bunch. MAGA does not sound very respectful, taken from the Trump supporters' writings. They do not call themselves MAGA. They end their posts with MAGA, meaning it is better for the nation.

And here is a guy imitating Trump. This is somewhat new. Obama would not have ever let anyone imitate him. Freedom of speech be damned. For all the adjectives you can put on Trump, one thing is for sure; he is a supporter of free speech. Or he is confident that such low-level ridicule won't hurt.

So this time, it seems the wave of posts was coming from the Democrat side. It is so simple and absurd that you may think there is some political maneuver going on. After all, Twitter is owned by a self-proclaimed Trump supporter. Either way, we like Twitter and the platform should be a fairground for discussion.
