Former President Obama spoke at the DNC. This time, he does not seem to be on a mission. He vaguely accused Former President Trump and claimed the race would be "close".
His lackluster performance only tells us one thing- the internal Democratic Party struggle. The party's senior members are not using him for any purpose even if he can still mobilize many people. Again -- and always. Just as when he was in the White House. He struggled to nominate judges and pass laws because of the rebellious party members and his divisive politics.
And to be honest, one thing I really do not stand is bringing powerful someone's wife on stage. Not only is it not a pleasing sight, it is downright humiliating that those women are under public scrutiny just because of their private lives. It is easy to point out her lack of senses and knowledge, or even sincerity. It is of course because she was not elected by her own self. The good thing about the election this year is that the Democratic Presidential candidate is not someone's wife.
The DNC is still going on while the peace deal is not going anywhere. Let's hope they hear our voice for peace.
